Can I add additional pets?
Yes, you can add as many pets (cats and dogs only) as you like. Each will require a separate registration.
What happens if my pet dies?
If your pet dies please notify us immediately by telephoning our customer service team on 0870 350 1432 or emailing admin@tracemypet.co.uk. We regret we will be unable to refund your registration fee, however we would be able to transfer it to another pet, if you have not taken the lifetime option.
How do I change my details?
You can amend your details or add additional information such as extra contacts or notes regarding vets visits by logging into the website and clicking on the area you wish to amend. Alternatively you can contact our customer service team who will be happy to help.
How much does it cost to register my pet?
It cost £29.99 per year for our 24 hour protection.
What happens if my pet loses their tag?
If your pet loses their tag you must contact us immediately on 0870 350 1432 and we will arrange for a brand new one to be sent, this will incur a small charge to cover the cost of postage, the tag and re-registering your details.
Can I transfer my registration to a different pet?
If you pet dies we will allow you to transfer your registration for the duration of the membership period, if you require a new tag there will be a small charge.
Is registration just for dogs and cats?
Trace My Pet is currently aimed at just cats and dogs but in the future we may look to extend to all domestic pets, watch this space.
How do I know when my renewal is due?
When you log in to the website you can click ‘my account’ and your information will be displayed. We will send you a letter prior to your renewal date informing you your membership is about to lapse. We also offer great savings on lifetime and 3 year registrations.
Can I ensure that my registration does not lapse?
To ensure you registration does not lapse we can arrange for periodic billing, or you could register for life.
Do I have to register online?
No, if you do not have access to the internet our customer service team can register or amend your details.
Does my registration include pet insurance?
No, trace my pet is a service designed to re-unite pets with their owners. However we believe all pets should be insured, please visit www.petplan.co.uk for pet insurance information.
